Wellness Program

"Wellness" is an active process through which people become aware of, and make choices toward, a more successful existence.(National Wellness Institute, Inc.)

Wellness Program 
The Wellness Program is located within the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center and is staffed by the Wellness Coordinator, Karrie Joseph, MPH, a graduate assistant and 5 peer educator program assistants.

The program seeks to enhance campus wellness through

  • Educational outreach programs
  • Event sponsorship
  • Advocacy
  • Media campaigns
  • Resources

Wellness staff are available for group presentations on a variety of topics like sexual health, stress, relationships, etc...  For a complete list and to request a program, please click here!
